Motsepe Foundation Championship side Highbury FC have explained the reason behind their decision to appoint Vusumuzi Vilakazi as the club’s new head coach for the upcoming campaign.

As reported by FARPost on Friday afternoon, Sibiya is linked with a move to Magesi FC, who recently got relegated to the National First Division [NFD]. This came after the Limpopo side failed to retain their Betway Premiership status during the PSL Promotion/Relegation Playoffs.

Vilakazi, affectionately known as ‘Kanu’ in football circles, returns to the dugout after being unattached since his departure from Chippa United towards the end of the last season.
