Motsepe Foundation Championship side Magesi FC have bolstered their attacking options ahead of the new season with the signing of ex-Siwelele FC and Highbury FC winger Koketso Sekgodiso, FARPost has established.
This publication has it on good authority that the 22-year-old has joined the Limpopo-based outfit as a free agent.
Sekgodiso had been without a club since July 1, 2026, following his departure from the Betway Premiership side, Siwelele.
He had initially joined Siwelele in July last year from Highbury, where he enjoyed a decent run, making 15 appearances while netting two goals and providing two assists.
The winger also previously had a stint with the now-defunct SAFA Gauteng ABC Motsepe League side, Dondol Stars.
However, life in the top-flight proved difficult for Sekgodiso, as game time was hard to come by. He only managed to make a single appearance in Siwelele colours last term.

The player was part of the massive squad overhaul at Siwelele, where he was among 23 players released ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The list of departures included high-profile names such as Lyle Lakay, Pogiso Sanoka, Ricardo Goss, Nyiko Mobbie, Happy Mashiane, Neo Rapoo, Gape Moralo, and Samkelo Zwane.
Samir Nurkoviฤ, Chibuike Ohizu, Kgaogelo Sekgota, Enoch Quaicoe, Keanin Ayer, Lazola Maku, Ghampani Lungu, Bohlale Ngwato, Thabang Mahlangu, Mahlatse Makudubela, Maloisane Mokhele, Thabo Mokhele, Buhle Mkhwanazi, and Mandlenkosi Nkosi complete the list.
MAGESI LOOKING FOR AN IMMEDIATE RETURN TO THE BETWAY PREMIERSHIP
Dikwena Tsa Meetse are looking to rebuild quickly, with Sekgodiso expected to bring the much-needed experience of playing in the South African second tier to Magesi’s squad.
Magesi suffered relegation to the National First Division [NFD] at the end of last season in heartbreaking fashion. Their fate was sealed on June 13, 2026, after they failed to secure a victory against Milford FC in a decisive PSL Promotional/Relegation Playoff encounter.
The Limpopo club needed a win at the Seshego Stadium to retain their Betway Premiership status; however, Magesi were held to a 1-1 draw. The result saw Milford clinch promotion to the elite league, sending Magesi back to the NFD.
