Betway Premiership side Marumo Gallants have officially unveiled 12 new signings in a bid to bolster their squad and ensure stability ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The new arrivals come as a major boost for the North West-based outfit, who are determined to turn their fortunes around after a challenging previous season.
The Abram Sello-owned side finished the 2025/26 season in 14th place, accumulating 25 points from 30 games and narrowly escaping the relegation zone on the final day of the campaign.

The 12 new recruits are headlined by Thato Mohlamme, the son of South African football legend Benedict ‘Tso’ Vilakazi. The other signings are: Thulani Zandamela, Thabang Sesinyi, Thokozani Lukhele, Prince Manku, and Mlungisi Sikakane.
Patrick Motsoeneng, Khomotso Marebane, Samkelo Sihlali, Thabiso Mkhwanazi, Onalenna Lepelesana, and Lebogang Button to complete the list.
MARUMO GALLANTS’ OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON NEW ACQUISITIONS
In an official statement released by the club on Wednesday, Bahlabane Ba Ntwa welcomed their latest acquisitions with high expectations.
“We are proud to welcome our newest signings to Marumo Gallants FC ahead of the 2026/27 season. Welcome to Bahlabane Ba Ntwa,” reads the club’s statement.
“Your talent, dedication, and ambition have brought you here. We can’t wait to see you represent our badge with pride.”
Meanwhile, to make room for the new arrivals, Gallants have opted for a squad clear-out. The side parted ways with eight players ahead of the new term.
The departure list includes: Lebogang Mabotja, Washington Arubi, Katekani Mhlongo, Jaison Clifford, Bareng Ledwaba, Edson Khumalo, Siya Nhlapo, and Lucky Sithole.
In addition, Gallants also opted to renew contract of experienced players such as Tshepo Rikhotso, Sibusiso Ncube, and Marvin Sikhosana.
With the new players brought into the squad and departures announced, Gallants will be aiming for a far more comfortable campaign when the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season kicks off.
Gallants were originally scheduled to open their season against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, 1 August. However, the fixture has been postponed after the Premier Soccer League [PSL] granted a request for a postponement from Masandawana.
