Having spent last season on loan at Orbit College FC from Orlando Pirates, midfielder Thuso Moleleki is now training with Lerumo Lions FC in a bid to secure a deal, FARPost has learnt.
The 26-year-old spent the 2025/26 campaign on a season-long loan at Orbit College FC from the Buccaneers to secure regular first-team minutes.
During his stint under Pogiso Makhoye, Moleleki featured in 13 matches across all competitions, chipping in with two goals and two assists. However, it proved to be a tough campaign for the Rustenburg-based side, who suffered automatic relegation on the final day of the Betway Premiership season following a 2-0 defeat to Pirates at Mbombela Stadium.
Orbit College finished bottom of the Premiership table in 16th place with 24 points from 30 matches.
Moleleki has since severed ties with Pirates, officially cutting short his stint with the Soweto giants.
Despite his recent history with Orbit College, a return to the club has been firmly ruled out. The midfielder is now hard at work assessing his options with Lerumo Lions as he looks to kickstart his career elsewhere.

FARPost can confirm that Moleleki is now being assessed by the Sibongile Marokana-owned outfit as they look to strengthen their midfield department ahead of the 2026/27 Motsepe Foundation Championship campaign.
Lerumo Lions are aiming to build on a solid debut season in the National First Division [NFD]. The North West-based club secured its second-tier status prior to the start of last season by acquiring the franchise of Pretoria Callies. They were previously competing in the SAFA North West ABC Motsepe League.
The side enjoyed an impressive inaugural professional campaign, finishing seventh on the Motsepe Foundation Championship log with 42 points from 30 league outings.
The responsibility is now in Moleleki’s hands to win over the Lerumo Lions technical team during his trial and earn a deal with the team ahead of the new season.
