Former Golden Arrows and Richards Bay FC striker Knox Mutizwa is on the verge of completing a move to Motsepe Foundation Championship side Venda FC, FARPost has established.
Mutizwa arrives at the Limpopo-based side as a free agent following his departure from Betway Premiership side Richards Bay last season.
The 32-year-old spent only one season at the ‘Natal Rich Boys’, having joined from their rivals Arrows, where he made a name for himself.
He was linked with a move back to Zimbabwe, with clubs such as Highlanders FC, CAPS United and Hard Rock FC reportedly interested.

FARPost has established that Mutizwa arrived in Limpopo on Saturday and was a spectator when Venda FC lost 1-0 against Gomora United at the Malamulele Stadium.
He began training with the club on Monday and has reportedly impressed the technical team led by coach Clinton Larsen.
His imminent move to Venda FC will see him reunite with Larsen. The two worked together while Larsen was head coach at Arrows from 2016 to 2018.

This publication spotted the Zimbabwean striker coming out of the Home Affairs offices in Polokwane to sort out his work permit papers ahead of the move.
He was escorted by what looked like a Venda FC official before heading towards the N1 North to Louis Trichardt, where the club is based.
Venda will host the University of Pretoria at Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday, 5 September. However, it’s unclear whether the striker’s paperwork will be ready ahead of the match.
The club currently sits in position 11 on the Motsepe Foundation Championship after collecting one point from their opening two games. Head coach Larsen has made it clear that the club is going to challenge for automatic promotion this season.
