Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya’s red-hot form has turned him into one of the most wanted strikers in the Betway Premiership, with FARPost reliably informed that Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca and free-spending Zimbabwean side Scottland FC are keen on his services.
The AmaZulu FC forward has been arguably the best-performing striker in the Betway Premiership this season, and the best-performing Zimbabwean in the league by some distance.
Ngwenya has six goals in five Betway Premiership matches. He added two more in the MTN8 to take his tally to eight goals across all competitions. His goal return has put him right at the top of the Golden Boot race and made him impossible to ignore.

In addition, the 23-year-old’s performances earned him the Betway Premiership Player of the Month award for August, which was announced on Tuesday.
Deservedly, he has been drafted into the Zimbabwe Warriors provisional squad for the upcoming 2027 AFCON qualifiers later this month against Sierra Leone and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
As such, Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca have reached out to AmaZulu FC and Ngwenya’s management, expressing their interest in signing him, with his contract set to expire on 30 June 2027.
Raja Casablanca are known for recruiting the best talent on the continent, and Ngwenya would be a good addition to their team.
On the other hand, Scottland FC are bankrolled to compete at the top and they see Ngwenya as the marquee signing to lead their attack. Ngwenya previously worked with Scottland FC coach Norman Mapeza and a reunion cannot be ruled out.
This season Ngwenya has looked sharper and more clinical as he carries AmaZulu FC’s attack. Even the Usuthu head coach Arthur Zwane has already warned about over-reliance on Ngwenya, admitting the team might struggle for goals when he is not around.
With AFCON qualifiers on the horizon, Ngwenya finds himself at the centre of attention both domestically and internationally. For now, he remains AmaZulu’s main man, but if his form continues, it may only be a matter of time before one of the big guns breaks the bank for his signature.
