Polokwane City FC head coach Willy Moloto is back home after being discharged from hospital, following a terrifying collapse during a league clash against AmaZulu FC before the FIFA international break.
Moloto spent a week at a private hospital in Polokwane after needing urgent medical attention. The incident occurred in the 30th minute of the 1-0 loss to Usuthu in a Betway Premiership match at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday, 19 September.
During the match, a fellow Polokwane City technical team member had to carry Moloto to the dressing room while play continued.
FARPost gathered that the former University of Pretoria assistant coach collapsed a few moments later and had to be quickly transported to the hospital.
WILLY MOLOTO FINALLY DISCHARGED FROM A PRIVATE HOSPITAL
After the match, assistant coach Mkhuseli Sentane confirmed that Moloto was unwell before the match. The incident resulted in the coach spending seven days under the care of medical doctors.
This publication has also gathered that Moloto was discharged on Friday, 25 September and is reportedly recovering well at home.
The current FIFA International break will come as a relief for both the coach and the club as it will allow more time to recover.

Rise and Shine went into the FIFA international break sitting in position 11 on the log standings in the Betway Premiership after one win in their opening seven matches. They are currently on seven points, four points above the danger zone.
After the international break, Polokwane City will return to action with an away match against Siwelele FC on Sunday, 18 October. They will then host struggling TS Galaxy before welcoming newcomers Kruger United, with both matches at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
