TS Galaxy interim coach Esau Mtsweni has vowed that people should expect a transformed side under incoming coach Admir Adzem.
Adzem has already arrived in South Africa and is expected to take over from Bernard Parker, who was relieved of his duties following a poor start to the 2026/27 season.
The 53-year-old Bosnian watched from the stands as Galaxy played to a 0-0 draw in a Betway Premiership clash against Polokwane City at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

Mtsweni has since revealed that he and Adzem have discussed how to move the club forward.
“We had conversations. Luckily we had a meeting, and he’s been watching our games a lot. So, we had to discuss and work together and find solutions together,” Mtsweni told journalists.
“You know, luckily, you know, he’s like one of us, you know, when we talk to him, it’s like he’s been here for months, you know, he’s a very good coach, and I know that we’ll see a different Galaxy under him.”
FARPost understands that Galaxy are awaiting Adzem’s work permit before officially announcing his appointment.
ADMIR ADZEM COULD GET HIS WORK PERMIT AFTER THE FIFA INTERNATIONAL BREAK
Although Mtsweni admitted he had no details of the delay, he confirmed that Adzem offered advice before the club’s 3-0 loss against Kaizer Chiefs and before the match against Polokwane City.
“I wouldn’t know now, you know, obviously when you come to a country, you need to sort out your papers and stuff. I would think that’s the only reason, you know, but next game surely, he will be with us on the bench,” added Mtsweni.
“We had like two days [with Admir Adzem], you know, but we met him before the Chiefs game as well, you know, we had a conversation, and I think, yeah, we had two days, you know, working with him. Yeah, it’s two days. “
Adzem will take over a TS Galaxy side currently in 12th place in the Betway Premiership. They have won only one of nine matches, with four draws and four defeats. If his paperwork is finalised, Adzem could be on the bench when Galaxy travel to Stellenbosch FC on 27 November 2026.
