What Celimpilo Ngema told Malesela about the AmaZulu pre-contract

Marumo Gallants coach Dan Malesela has revealed his conversation with star midfielder Celimpilo Ngema regarding reports that he has signed a pre-contract with AmaZulu

Ngema has been one of the key players for Gallants since the club purchased the status from Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM), although he has always gone unnoticed.

Reports have surfaced that the 25-year-old has been recruited by the KwaZulu-Natal outfit AmaZulu. It is alleged that Ngema has signed a pre-contract that could see him reunited with coach Romain Folz.

“I knew that was going to come up because he is the one who made a mistake (against Stellenbosch),” said Malesela.

“I don’t want to assume things, and I don’t want to talk about things that people are saying. But if that is the case, then it’s probably difficult. Some people can handle things. Some people cannot.

“Pre-contracts are difficult to handle for some people, but some people can. So once a person has signed, what can you do as a club? I am not sure. I don’t know, I just see it from people,” added Malesela after their clash against Stellenbosch.

WHAT CELIMPILO NGEMA TOLD MALESELA

“When I asked him, he said no, he didn’t sign. So it’s unfortunate losing players, but we have to replace them.”

NO REPLACEMENT FOR SEDE DION

Meanwhile, Malesela also confirmed that the club has not found anyone replacement for striker Sede Dion who recently left the club. Dion has joined AmaZulu under coach Romain Folz.

“We haven’t found a replacement,” he said.

“I always tell people that if you have bought a certain set of tiles at your house and you go back to the shop to look for the same tile, you may not find it. You have to look for something to replace them. It’s the same thing here,” he explained.
