Zimbabwe’s Dynamos release former AmaTuks defender Partson Jaure
Former University of Pretoria defender Partson Jaure is among 10 players Zimbabwe’s Dynamos have released.
The former AmaTuks defender Partson Jaure has been shown the exit door alongside Sylvester Appiah, Godknows Murwira, Albert Eonde, Alex Orotomal, Ralph Kawondera and Keith Murera.
The 22-time Zimbabwe Premier League champions have confirmed Partson Jaure’s axing alongside the nine other players.
Zimbabwe online outlets have quoted Dynamos Secretary-General Webster Marechera’s letter to Partson Jaure informing him that the club did not extend his contract beyond December 31 2022.
“This letter serves to inform you that your contract of employment will be ending on December 31, and the club wishes to confirm that the contract will not be extended beyond the date in question,” reads the letter.

FARPost has since seen a statement from the club, which is affectionately called DeMbare, confirming the exit of the 10 players, including Jaure.
“Dynamos FC shall forever remain grateful for the service rendered to the club by these players, and we wish them well in their careers,” reads the statement from the club’s spokesperson Tinashe Farawo.
The ex-Zimbabwean international defender joined University of Pretoria in 2014 from Dynamos.
He played for AmaTuks for two seasons until 2016, when he returned to Zimbabwe after the club’s relegation.
The former Warriors defender surprised many fans in Zimbabwe when he opted to sign for then newly-promoted Ngezi Platinum.
He spent a few seasons at Ngezi Platinum before crossing the borders to Zambia for a stint at BuildCon FC in 2018.
The 32-year-old completed the cycle when he reunited with DeMbare in 2019.
Meanwhile, DeMbare have also sent back Luke Musikiri, Claivert Tshuma and Stephen Chatikobo to the club’s reserve team.
DEMBARE SET TO SIGN NEW PLAYERS AHEAD OF NEW SEASON
The Harare giants have since stepped up their efforts to sign new players in readiness for next season.
“Meanwhile, all stakeholders are hereby notified that the club is almost through with the recruitment of new players to beef up our 2023 squad, and a formal announcement will be made in due course,” Farawo added.
Dynamos are also discussing with Evans Katema and Martin Ofori to have their running contracts terminated by mutual consent.
The Harare giants have also parted ways with Trevor Mavhunga, who has declined a contract extension, according to Farawo.
“The club has also offered Trevor Mavhunga an improved new contract, but the player’s handlers advised that Trevor is now heading for a new home,” he said.
DeMbare settled for a third-place finish in the just-ended domestic league, 17 points behind champions Platinum.
