Mamelodi Sundowns told what to do to cope with resurgent Sekhukhune United

Hlompho Kekana has offered advice to his former club Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their DStv Premiership contest with Sekhukhune United.

Masandawana were held to a goalless draw by Babina Noko in the reverse fixture.

It was played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in August.

Kekana says the Tshwane giants must come prepared to fight because it’s not going to be a walkover for them.

He believes at this time of the season; mental strength will win them games rather than physical strength.

HLOMPHO KEKANA GIVES ADVICE TO MAMELODI SUNDOWNS AHEAD OF SEKHUKHUNE CLASH

“I think at this point where you come from a match where a pitch wasn’t friendly to the boys, of course, there’s a lot of energy wasted in that pitch,” he told Sundowns TV

“You need to regather, gather that strength and energy. Remember, in a match like Sekhukhune, you must be ready to fight.

“You must be ready to break that line, and you must be prepared to win every duel coming your way.

“So, it’s not going to be easy. They’ll try by all means to make it difficult for the boys.

“But like I said, the mental strength this part of the season is more crucial than to apply themselves in the field of play.”
