PSL coach Dylan Kerr robbed at gunpoint in Durban

Former Swallows coach Dylan Kerr got the scare of his life on Boxing Day, 26 December 22.

Dylan Kerr was robbed of his cellphone at gun point at the Township of KwaMashu, North of Durban.

Kerr was with friends enjoying his holidays in his adopted country of Mzansi. The Maltese-born mentor is currently without a club after he parted ways with the Dube Birds earlier this season.

The 55-year-old spends most of his time in Durban playing Golf with friends, including Orlando Pirates legends Gavin Lane and Mark Fish.

“Ya was a lil’ bit scary but I’m ok. It’s only a phone,” Kerr told FARPost through a DM message on Twitter on Monday evening.

In a series of tweets, the former Black Leopards and Baroka coach said he has never experienced such in other countries.

“Never happened In Kenya or Tanzania or Vietnam or anywhere else,” he said.

“I love my adopted country South Africa and tonight I was robbed of my life. I hope who did this ROT In HELL with all the other vile pathetic CUNTS that exist in the country.

“Anyone who points a gun at you please don’t fight back the cowards can fuck off and die,” said a shocked Kerr.

“I’m a small % of what’s happening it’s an utter disgrace not just for me but millions who have had this done to them it’s a massive wake up call for me NEVER again trust anyone.”

Kerr later revealed he was unharmed in the whole ordeal.

“I am fine, I just  thought I was ok. In my environment I took it for granted and I feel such a CUNT as they always say never trust anyone.”

Dylan Kerr arrived in South Africa in 2018 to join Black Leopards from Kenyan giants Gor Mahia. He has had success at almost all the clubs he took charge of. This includes saving Black Leopards, Baroka and Marumo Gallants (then Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM), Swallows from relegation. He also won the Nedbank Cup with TTM.
