Marumo Gallants FC announce technical team reshuffle

Betway Premiership side Marumo Gallants FC has announced a significant reshuffle within its technical team, leading to changes affecting key figures such as head coach Dan Malesela and technical director Molefi Ntseki.

The changes have led to the exit of Malesela and Ntseki. The Bloemfontein-based team cited a series of disappointing results as the reason for terminating the duo’s contracts.

In the interim, assistant coaches Sundra Govender and Duncan Lechesa will assume responsibility for the first team of Gallants.

As things stand, Bahlabane Ba Ntwa are currently placed 14th on the Betway Premiership table with 15 points after 17 matches.

Malesela was appointed as Gallants’ coach following Dylan Kerr’s resignation ahead of the new PSL campaign in July 2024.

With Dan ‘Dance’ shown the exit door, Gallants have also confirmed that negotiations are in progress with Moroccan coach Abdeslan Ouaddou, who is in South Africa to finalise talks with the club.
