Kaizer Chiefs have unveiled Thabo Moloisane as their first signing for the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season, snapping up the defender following the expiration of his contract at Stellenbosch FC.
The Glamour Boys signed Moloisane on a free transfer following his departure from Stellies, with his contract set to expire at the end of June. The defender bid farewell to the Winelands-based side a few weeks ago after spending three successful seasons with the club.
Moloisane brings a wealth of experience to the Chiefs backline, having excelled for Stellenbosch in both domestic and CAF competitions, while also earning international recognition with Bafana Bafana.
In his stint with Stellenbosch, the hard-tackling centre-back made over 110 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals, registering three assists, and helping the team keep a host of clean sheets.
Moloisane is expected to play a major role at Chiefs under the guidance of incoming head coach Fernando Da Cruz, who takes over the hot seat for the upcoming campaign.
