RANGA CHIVAVIRO’S IMPRESSIVE RUN IN SAUDI ARABIA

Chivaviro’s move to Kuwait comes on the back of a productive stint in Saudi Arabia. He signed for Al-Adalah in September last year following his departure from the Soweto giants, Chiefs.

During his single season with Al-Adalah, the experienced goalscorer enjoyed a good run of form. He featured in 28 matches across all competitions, netting 13 goals and providing two assists.

RANGA CHIVAVIRO’S FOOTBALL CAREER JOURNEY

The move to Kuwait further expands Chivaviro’s extensive football career, which spans across several local and international clubs.

Kuwait will be his third experience outside the African continent. In 2021, the talented striker had a brief stint in Europe with Kosovan side Klubi Futbollistik Trepça ‘89, followed by a spell at Saudi Arabia’s Al-Adalah before his latest move to Al-Fahaheel.

Domestically, Chivaviro has been a journeyman in South African football, having turned out for teams in both the Betway Premiership and the Motsepe Foundation Championship. His extensive career includes stints with Cape Town All Stars, FC Cape Town, Baroka FC, TS Sporting, Venda FC, Marumo Gallants, and Kaizer Chiefs

Chivaviro will now look to carry his satisfying form from Saudi Arabia into the Kuwait Premier League as he begins this new chapter with Al-Fahaheel SC.
