Newly promoted Betway Premiership outfit Kruger United FC have announced 15 new signings, with Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari headlining the list ahead of their historic top-flight debut.
The Mpumalanga-based side, affectionately known as the ‘Village Boys’, took to their official Facebook account on Sunday, 19 July 2026, to unveil their new recruits alongside their new kit for the 2026/27 season.
Headlining the arrivals is highly-rated goalkeeper Ntwari, who makes the switch to the top-flight newcomers from Soweto giants, Chiefs, on a loan deal.
Kruger secured automatic promotion to South Africa’s elite league last campaign for the first time in their history. They finished at the summit of the Motsepe Foundation Championship log with 62 points from 30 matches.
Determined to maintain their top-flight status and avoid an immediate return to the lower division, the club has bolstered its squad with a blend of top-flight experience and lower-league standouts.
Apart from Ntwari, the squad has added established PSL figures. This includes the likes of striker Thabang Sibanyoni from Magesi FC. Also, ex-Sekhukhune United man Katlego Mohamme and experienced defender Kwanda Mngonyama, who was with Al-Ettihad Club.
Kruger have also raided the recently relegated Black Leopards, snapping up five players from the Limpopo side following Lidoda Duvha’s drop to the ABC Motsepe League.

The 15 new signings are: Fiacre Ntwari [Kaizer Chiefs], Thabang Sibanyoni [Magesi FC], Katlego Mohamme [Sekhukhune United], Kwanda Mngonyama [Al-Ettihad Club], Tumelo Mmakgolane [Black Leopards], Tateda Tavengwa [Venda FC], Sidney Fakude [Black Leopards], Phathutshedzo Musekwa [Black Leopards].
Thendo Makhumela [Black Leopards], Lwanda Mbanjwa [Golden Arrows], Sanele Tshabalala [Golden Arrows], Sikhosonke Langa [Sekhukhune United], Mlungisi Zwane [Casric Stars], Motsie Matima [Magesi FC] and Shane Saralina [Upington City FC] to complete the list.
Alongside the 15 new faces, Kruger also officially dropped their new playing kit for the upcoming 2026/27 Betway Premiership season.

The club’s hierarchy urged the new arrivals to respect the club’s badge as they prepare to compete with the country’s elite teams.
